Radio Folkestone is Folkestone's number 1 local community radio station. Established in 2011 as Academy FM, we work with young people and local volunteers to promote community engagement and local businesses. Our mission is to inform, interact, and entertain the community with high-quality content.

While we are working around the clock to update the website for both desktop and mobile, some features are not available on mobile devices. Various reasons include sizing, general availability, visibility etc. There are a couple of ways to better your mobile experience in the meantime. If you are visiting the website on iPhone, try requesting the desktop website. To do this, tap on the aA button on the address bar, and tap on Request Desktop Website. On Android phones, tap the three dots and tick the Desktop Website checkbox. If the website still doesn't look right, you can enjoy a cleaner experience by downloading the app.
